Hôtel du gouverneur et des consuls, auquel la tradition unit le logement des magistrats municipaux de la bastide de Domme. La partie la plus ancienne, si elle ne date pas de la fondation de la bastide, ne doit pas lui être postérieure de beaucoup. Il en reste, au rez-de-chaussée des pièces à voûtes d'arêtes ou en berceau à peine brisé. Au 16e siècle, la maison s'enrichit d'un escalier carré à la française, de cheminées Renaissance en pierre aux bandeaux sculptés et d'une tourelle de guet en encorbellement, conduisant à un colombier aux fuies orientées sud. La façade sur la place paraît dater du 17e siècle. Le portail, d'un modèle fréquent à Domme, date du début du 19e siècle.

History
Hotel of the governor and consuls, which tradition links to the lodging of the municipal magistrates of the bastide of Domme. The oldest part, if it does not date from the foundation of the bastide, cannot be much later than it. There remain, on the ground floor, rooms with groin vaults or barely broken barrel vaults. In the 16th century, the house was enriched with a square staircase à la française, Renaissance stone fireplaces with sculptured bands and a watch turret in corbels, leading to a dovecote with flights facing south. The facade on the square appears to date from the 17th century. The portal, of a model frequent at Domme, dates from the early 19th century.
