History
The church is mentioned for the first time in a register from the 13th century. According to tradition, the church would have been founded by the local lords. Another tradition holds that it was the Templars and that it formed part of the commandery of the Temple of Eau. After the dissolution of the order, the commandery's possessions were given in large part to the order of Malta. In 1805, the parish was permanently suppressed and attached to Cherveix. Between the single nave and the choir vaulted in a half-dome, an ovoid cupola on pendentives rests on two round arches. A Maltese cross in stone emphasizes the pointed arch of the portal.
