Le château dépendait, au 12e siècle, de la châtellenie de Larche. Pillé en 1569 et incendié avant la Révolution, il ne reste du château que le donjon. Ce dernier est percé, sur sa face ouest, de fenêtres à meneaux. La face sud présente des bretèches. Ce donjon témoigne de l'architecture militaire médiévale.

History
The castle depended, in the 12th century, on the castellany of Larche. Plundered in 1569 and burnt before the Revolution, nothing remains of the castle but the keep. The latter is pierced, on its west face, by mullioned windows. The south face presents bretèches. This keep is testimony to medieval military architecture.
