Historique
Avant la Révolution, l'ancienne paroisse dépendait du diocèse de Limoges. Construite dans la seconde moitié du 12e siècle, c'est le type d'église rurale fréquemment reproduit en Limousin et dans la partie du Périgord qui lui est contigu. Au lieu de recevoir au 15e ou 16e siècle une seconde nef et des restaurations ou remaniements comme la plupart des ses voisines, celle de Reilhac est restée intacte. De plan rectangulaire, l'édifice comporte une nef suivie d'un choeur sous coupole, et d'une abside semi-circulaire. La voûte en berceau, effondrée, prenait naissance sur une corniche en quart de ronde. Le choeur rectangulaire est voûté d'une coupole à pendentifs plats triangulaires dans les angles rentrants. Des baies à meurtrières éclairent le choeur. L'abside est ornée de quatre arcatures aveugles en plein cintre. De type limousin, le portail est à cinq voussures retombant sur des colonnettes à chapiteaux sculptés. Le clocher barlong s'élève au-dessus du choeur.

History
Before the Revolution, the old parish was under the diocese of Limoges. Built in the second half of the 12th century, it is the type of rural church frequently reproduced in Limousin and in the part of Périgord which is contiguous to it. Instead of receiving in the 15th or 16th century a second nave and restorations or alterations like most of its neighbours, that of Reilhac remained intact. Of rectangular plan, the building comprises a nave followed by a choir under a dome, and a semi-circular apse. The barrel vault, collapsed, took its origin on a quarter-round cornice. The rectangular choir is vaulted with a dome with flat triangular pendentives in the recessed angles. Openings with loopholes light the choir. The apse is ornamented with four blind arcatures in round arch. Of Limousin type, the portal has five voussures falling on small columns with sculpted capitals. The barlong bell tower rises above the choir.
