Des constructions du 14e siècle ne subsistent que des fragments de remparts et une tour d'angle à demi ruinée. Le pont-levis a disparu, remplacé par un porche monumental du 17e siècle encadré par deux lions accroupis. Le château actuel a été bâti au 17e siècle, à l'emplacement de l'édifice féodal, attaqué au canon par le vicomte de Turenne en 1585. L'édifice présente un bâtiment barlong coupé en son milieu par un pavillon à angle droit.

History
From the 14th century buildings only fragments of ramparts and a half-ruined corner tower remain. The drawbridge has disappeared, replaced by a monumental porch from the 17th century framed by two crouching lions. The present castle was built in the 17th century, on the site of the feudal building, attacked by cannon by the vicomte de Turenne in 1585. The building presents an oblong block cut in its middle by a pavilion at right angles.
