History
Nothing in the constructions appears to date back beyond the 16th century, although tradition attributes to this castle, which was formerly believed to be linked to the church, a much more ancient origin that would extend back to the Templars. The structure is composed of two main dwellings. The more important is oriented in the same direction as the church. It is connected to a pavilion by a gallery which encloses, to the west, an interior courtyard closed to the east by an old defensive wall. A vast French staircase projects into this courtyard and completes the ensemble with the double-storied gallery. The façades are entirely crowned with machicolations. The interiors are well preserved, with their old ceilings with exposed beams and 17th-century woodwork.
