Historique
Couvent fondé en 1670 par le chanoine Paul Dandrée, de la cathédrale Saint-Siffrein. Le chanoine installe une communauté de trois religieuses venant d'Annecy, dans une maison lui appartenant et leur fait construire ou aménager une chapelle. Les religieuses achètent les maisons voisines et les font restaurer. Couvent vendu à la Révolution, après avoir été divisé en lots.££Consacrée en 1717, la chapelle présente un plan classique de nef unique bordée de chapelles latérales et suivie d'un choeur à chevet plat. Le choeur est couvert d'une voûte plein cintre, les travées de la nef sont voûtées d'arêtes. L'aménagement intérieur est dû aux frères Mazzetti, sculpteurs installés à Avignon en 1746. Le choeur de l'église est orné de stuc sculpté et peint. L'autel du retable a été démonté et vendu par le boulanger ayant acheté l'église vers 1800.

History
Convent founded in 1670 by the canon Paul Dandrée, of the cathedral of Saint-Siffrein. The canon installed a community of three nuns coming from Annecy in a house belonging to him and had a chapel built or arranged for them. The nuns purchased the neighbouring houses and had them restored. Convent sold at the Revolution, after having been divided into lots. Consecrated in 1717, the chapel presents a classical plan of a single nave bordered by lateral chapels and followed by a choir with a flat chevet. The choir is covered with a round-arch vault, the bays of the nave are vaulted with groins. The interior arrangement is due to the Mazzetti brothers, sculptors established in Avignon in 1746. The choir of the church is adorned with sculpted and painted stucco. The altar of the altarpiece was dismantled and sold by the baker who purchased the church around 1800.
