Maison de vacances construite près de la petite plage de Saint-Clair pour la famille Dollander, en 1949 (chambres et séjour) et en 1951 (cuisine). Elle est dessinée par l'architecte Henri Prouvé et édifiée par le constructeur Jean Prouvé. Posé sur une dalle, l'édifice est caractéristique des solutions constructives élaborées par Jean Prouvé pour proposer une architecture industrialisée de l'habitat. Il est construit autour d'une poutre centrale en tôle d'acier pliée, portée par des portiques, avec une toiture en bacs d'acier encastrés servant de contreventement. La maison conserve son mobilier d'origine, dessiné et construit par les ateliers Prouvé à Maxéville (54).

History
Holiday home built near the small beach of Saint-Clair for the Dollander family, in 1949 (bedrooms and living space) and in 1951 (kitchen). It is designed by the architect Henri Prouvé and built by the builder Jean Prouvé. Placed on a slab, the building is characteristic of the constructive solutions developed by Jean Prouvé to propose an industrialised architecture of housing. It is built around a central beam of bent sheet steel, borne by portal frames, with a roof in cast steel trays serving as bracing. The house retains its original furniture, designed and built by the Prouvé workshops in Maxéville (54).
