Tourves devient une possession des Valbelle au 17e siècle. Le château et le parc vont subir de nombreuses transformations au 18e siècle. Pendant la Révolution, le château est saisi comme bien d'émigré et le mobilier dispersé. History
Tourves became a possession of the Valbelle in the 17th century. The castle and park underwent numerous transformations in the 18th century. During the Revolution, the castle was seized as the property of an émigré and the contents dispersed. The park, created by the comte de Valbelle between 1767 and 1777, was devastated a few years later when the castle served as a garrison before burning in 1799.
