Les soeurs dominicaines ont été installées à Fréjus en 1639, rejointes dès 1647 par les bernardines. Le couvent remonte au milieu du 17e siècle ; la date de 1681 se lit sur la porte de la chapelle. Il se composait de bâtiments conventuels (de deux étages sur rez-de-chaussée) groupés autour d'un cloître et de la chapelle au nord-ouest. Les intérieurs de la chapelle ont été divisés ; une partie du cloître a été démolie pour laisser place à une maison moderne.

History
The Dominican sisters were installed at Fréjus in 1639, joined from 1647 by the Bernardines. The convent dates from the middle of the 17th century; the date of 1681 is readable on the chapel door. It was composed of convent buildings (two storeys over ground floor) grouped around a cloister and the chapel to the north-west. The interior of the chapel has been divided; part of the cloister was demolished to make way for a modern house.
