Maison construite en 1924, à partir d'un édifice existant, par l'architecte départemental Gaston Castel pour son usage personnel et pour son cabinet. Il surélève l'ensemble d'un étage en 1930. La maison occupe l'extrémité d'un îlot, mais la façade la plus étroite est traitée en façade principale, avec bow-window et terrasses en retrait. A l'intérieur, circulations et pièces de service font l'objet d'autant de soins que les espaces de réception. Ceux-ci, vastes et lumineux, sont aménagés dans un style Art Déco, le ferronnier d'art Edgar Brandt signant la décoration de la salle à manger. Ce décor a été dépecé et vendu aux enchères en 1989.

History
House built in 1924, from an existing building, by departmental architect Gaston Castel for his personal use and his office. He raises the whole building by one storey in 1930. The house occupies the end of a block, but the narrowest façade is treated as the main façade, with bow-window and recessed terraces. Inside, circulation and service rooms receive as much care as reception spaces. These, vast and luminous, are fitted out in Art Deco style, with artist metalworker Edgar Brandt signing the decoration of the dining room. This decor was dismantled and sold at auction in 1989.
