Modeste chapelle bâtie dans le dernier quart du 15e siècle, elle a fait l'objet de remaniements importants aux 16e et 17e siècles (notamment la nef et la sacristie). La nef, sans doute charpentée à l'origine, est maintenant couverte d'un berceau à lunettes. Le choeur, voûté en berceau plein cintre, avait été décoré dès 1490 d'un ensemble de peintures murales à la détrempe. Ce décor, non modifié ultérieurement, peut être attribué à Giovanni Canavesio, peintre piémontais actif dans les Alpes du Sud dans le dernier quart du 15e siècle. History
Modest chapel built in the last quarter of the 15th century, it was subject to important alterations in the 16th and 17th centuries (in particular the nave and the sacristy). The nave, doubtless originally timber-roofed, is now covered with a barrel vault with lunettes. The choir, vaulted with a round arch barrel vault, had been decorated from 1490 onwards with a set of distemper mural paintings. This decoration, unmodified subsequently, can be attributed to Giovanni Canavesio, a Piedmontese painter active in the Southern Alps in the last quarter of the 15th century. The main theme is the Passion of Christ; there are also a few representations of saints.
