The Ministère de la Culture's notice
Historique

History
Of medieval origin, this pedestrian bridge was swept away by the waters of the river at the beginning of the 18th century and rebuilt in 1710 by the Cometto, father and son, masons from Lugano. It is of the type of "broken bridges" forming an elbow before spanning the river. The structure is in jointed rubble stone and the roadway framed by a double parapet has retained its stone-paved surface.
