In the new agglomeration of Cergy Pontoise. The Saint-Joseph hermitage is the oldest of the French carmels still in its original walls. Its decoration was executed in the years 1933-1934 by a Carmelite nun, and testifies to the vigour of the cult rendered to Joseph.
