La construction d'un nouveau lycée est prévue dans les années 1950, par l'architecte Raymond Petit. Edifice constitué d'une barre de 220 mètres de long reposant sur une plate-forme de béton suspendue au-dessus du sol. Le site comprend d'autres bâtiments : gymnase, réfectoire, habitations du personnel.
