Château construit à la fin du 16e siècle et propriété de la famille d'Ormesson depuis 1630. Un premier jardin est réalisé au 17e siècle, mais c'est après l'acquisition de terres supplémentaires et l'érection en marquisat en 1758 que le parc est aménagé dans sa forme actuelle, avec la pièce d'eau alimentée par le Morbras, le tapis vert dans l'axe du château et l'ensemble des allées forestières. Les communs, transformés pendant le troisième quart du 18e siècle et dont l'emplacement n'a pas varié depuis le 16e siècle, se composent d'un quadrilatère ("la ferme") accolé au pavillon ouest de l'entrée auquel s'est ajoutée une grange vers 1810.

History
Château built at the end of the 16th century and property of the d'Ormesson family since 1630. A first garden was laid out in the 17th century, but it was after the acquisition of additional land and the erection into a marquisate in 1758 that the park was arranged in its present form, with the water feature fed by the Morbras, the lawn in the axis of the château and all the forest paths. The outbuildings, transformed during the third quarter of the 18th century and whose location has not changed since the 16th century, consist of a quadrilateral ('the farm') adjoining the west pavilion of the entrance to which a barn was added around 1810.
