Datant du début du 17e siècle, les vestiges exceptionnels du haut fourneau du bois d'Hérée ou de Moraypré, sont ceux d'une ancienne usine métallurgique détruite. La présence dun établissement métallurgique ancien à Moraypré nest connue que par un texte du 17e siècle. On distingue bien sa masse de plusieurs mètres de hauteur ainsi que deux côtés du chemisage intérieur. Seules deux faces du gueulard sont conservées.

History
Dating from the beginning of the 17th century, the exceptional remains of the blast furnace of the bois d'Hérée or Moraypré, are those of a former destroyed metallurgical works. The presence of an old metallurgical establishment at Moraypré is known only from a 17th century text. Its mass of several metres in height can be clearly distinguished as well as two sides of the internal casing. Only two faces of the bell mouth are preserved.
