Kuvaus
Pihapiirin läpi kulkeva maantie on osa vanhaa, Salpausselkää seurannutta keskiaikaista maantietä.
Historia
Villähteen kylän Erstan kartano muodostui neljästä everstiluutnantti Mårten von der Trenckille 1650-luvulla lahjoitetusta tilasta. Suuressa reduktiossa 1680-luvulla säterivapaus peruutettiin ja kartanosta muodostettiin säteriratsutila.
Nykyiselle paikalle tilakeskus siirrettiin Vanhankartanonmäeltä 1800-luvun alkupuolella. Empiretyylinen päärakennus valmistui 1830 ja sitä uudistettiin 1892. Uno Baskinin isännöidessä kartanoa 1930-luvulla hänen metsästysvieraanaan oli mm. presidentti P.E. Svinhufvud. Nykyisin kartanossa toimii taide- ja toimintakeskus.

Description
The manor of Erstan: its architecturally significant main building and a compact courtyard group of several buildings and a park form, in a heavily renovated setting along the old main road, a layer representative of 19th-century manor building.
On the south side of Kymijärvi, along the old road that follows the Salpausselkä, stand the Empire-style main building of the Ersta manor and one of its wing buildings, both dating from the 1830s. The hip-roofed, single-storey main building has a façade decorated with pilasters and a large porch building with columns. The Empire style features have been preserved; the alterations of the 1890s are visible mainly in the windows. The main and wing buildings are surrounded by a park bounded by a spruce hedge.
The manor's farmyard buildings are on both sides of the old Viipurintie. Besides the brick-built cowshed, stable and grain storehouse (1828), the farmyard contains a number of servants' quarters from the second half of the 19th century. The building group includes a park and a garden. New traffic routes and residential and industrial areas in the surroundings have significantly changed the historical cultural landscape of the manor.
The main road passing through the courtyard is part of the old medieval road that followed the Salpausselkä.
History
Erstan manor in the village of Villähde was formed from four estates donated to lieutenant colonel Mårten von der Trenck in the 1650s. In the Great Reduction in the 1680s, the säterivapaus was revoked and the manor was turned into a säteriratsutila.
The estate centre was moved to its present site from Vanhankartanonmäki in the first half of the 19th century. The Empire-style main building was completed in 1830 and was renovated in 1892. During the tenure of Uno Baskin in the 1930s, the manor's hunting guests included, among others, President P.E. Svinhufvud. Today the manor operates as an arts and activity centre.
