The Finnish Heritage Agency's description

Hämeen vanhoihin rälssitiloihin kuuluvan Voistion kartanon laaja, tasankomaisen viljelymaisema ilmentää vuosisatoja jatkunutta maankäyttöä Hämeen vauraalla viljelyseudulla. Kartanon päärakennus on uudemman kartanoarkkitehtuurin korkeatasoinen edustaja.

Voistion kartanon kaksikerroksisen, valkoiseksi rapatun funkishenkisen päärakennuksen on suunnitellut arkkitehti Einari Teräsvirta. Väentuvan ja navetan lisäksi pihapiirissä on arkkitehti Väinö Vähäkallion suunnittelema tiilinen tallirakennus. Rakennuksia ympäröi vanha puisto.

Voistion kylästä on kirjallisia mainintoja 1390-luvulta. Kartanon kantatilana olevaan Köykkään yhdistettiin 1550-luvulla toinen tila ja muodostetulle rälssitilalle annettiin 1592 verovapaus. Myöhemmin Voistio oli ratsutilana. Tila oli upseerien omistuksessa aina 1800-luvun loppupuolelle saakka. Puisto istutettiin 1800-luvun alkupuolella. Päärakennus valmistui 1940, tallirakennus 1922 ja navetta 1889.

The extensive, flat cultivated landscape of Voistio Manor, one of the old rälssi estates of Tavastia, reflects centuries of continuous land use in the prosperous farming region of Tavastia. The main building of the manor is a high-quality example of more recent manor architecture.

The two-storey, white-rendered main building of Voistio Manor, with its functionalist character, was designed by architect Einari Teräsvirta. In addition to the väentupa and the cowshed, the farmyard includes a brick stable building designed by architect Väinö Vähäkallio. The buildings are surrounded by an old park.

There are written references to the village of Voistio from the 1390s. In the 1550s another farm was merged with Köykkä, the parent farm serving as the core of the manor, and in 1592 the resulting rälssi estate was granted tax exemption. Later Voistio was a ratsutila. The farm was owned by officers until the late 19th century. The park was planted in the first half of the 19th century. The main building was completed in 1940, the stable building in 1922 and the cowshed in 1889.
