Kuvaus
Kyläkeskus on muodostunut koskipaikan tuntumaan. Joen rannoilla on merkkejä pitkästä myllyperinteestä. Iso-Peuran ja Hokkalan kantatalot sijaitsevat kyläkeskuksen ja joen eteläpuolella ns. pikkukylässä. Iso- ja pikkukylän väliin jää 1899 rakennettu ja 1923 laajennettu koulurakennus.
Kaartjärven pohjoisrannalla sijaitseva Vojakkala on Lopen vanhimpia kyliä. Kylän rakennukset sijaitsevat tiiviinä rykelmänä tienristeyksessä. Kylää ja vanhimpia kyläpeltoja rajaavat etelässä järvi ja muualla metsäalue. Vanhalla kylätonttilla sijaitsevat Kallelan, Lukanan ja Siukolan kantatilojen talouskeskukset.
Historia

Description
Vojakkala and Topeno are South Tavastian peasant group villages whose village layout is very well preserved, and whose building stock represents typical, well-preserved peasant construction of its time.
The original farms of Topeno village, Hemmo, Sorri, Hurri and Suutari, are situated in a clear row alongside the Topenojoki river and the main road. The large log main buildings of Hemmo and Hurri, built in the 19th century, form the traffic and landscape node of the old village site, the isokylä. The built environment of the village is mainly from the 1910s and 1920s. The village centre has formed near a rapids. The banks of the river show signs of a long milling tradition. The original farms of Iso-Peura and Hokkala are located south of the village centre and the river, in the so-called pikkukylä. Between the isokylä and the pikkukylä lies a school building built in 1899 and extended in 1923.
Vojakkala, situated on the north shore of Kaartjärvi, is one of the oldest villages in Lopi. The village buildings are located in a compact cluster at a road junction. The village and its oldest village fields are bounded by the lake to the south and by forest elsewhere. On the old village site are the farmyards of the original farms Kallela, Lukana and Siukola.
History
The village of Topeno is first mentioned in written sources in 1470, and the village of Vojakkala was probably already settled in the 13th century. The main buildings of Siukola, Lukana and Kallela, which are located on the village site, were built or extended to their present size by the early 20th century. Kallela operated as a coaching inn in the late 19th century. After the isojako, Pekkala and Ollikala moved to the eastern side of the village.
The field area of Topeno has been almost its present size since the beginning of the 19th century. The oldest known farms in the village are Hurri, Tirra, Hemmo, Suutari, Sorri, Hokkala and Peura. Since the isojako, the village has been divided into the isokylä, formed by the old village centre, and the pikkukylä, formed by the farm centres of Vähä-Peura, Iso-Peura and Hokkala, although settlement has existed on the site of the pikkukylä already in the 17th century. Hemmo and Hurri are located on old village sites and have functioned as a coaching inn or a court house.
