Kuvaus
Kyrön rautatieasema edustaa 1870-luvulla rakennetun Turku – Tampere-radan tyypillistä pientä V luokan asemaa.
Kyrön asema-alueella on puisen uusrenessanssityylisen asemarakennuksen lisäksi tavaramakasiini, kaksi asuinrakennusta ja useita talousrakennuksia. Asemaa vastapäätä radan toisella puolella on vanha saha-alue ja lastausalue. Asema-alueelle on rakennettu puhelinmasto.
Historia
Marttilasta 1872 itsenäistyneen Karinaisen kunnan edustajat onnistuivat toimenpiteissään saada rakenteilla olleen Turun-Tampereen radan asema kunnan alueelle.

Description
Kyrö railway station represents a typical small class V station of the Turku-Tampere line built in the 1870s.
In addition to the wooden neo-Renaissance-style station building, the Kyrö station area includes a goods storehouse, two residential buildings and several outbuildings. Opposite the station, on the other side of the track, is an old sawmill area and a loading area. A telephone mast has been built in the station area.
History
Representatives of Karinainen municipality, which became independent from Marttila in 1872, succeeded in their efforts to bring the station of the Turku-Tampere line, then under construction, into the municipality's area. The municipality donated the land needed for the station from Kyrö village. Construction of the line connecting the inland with the coast began in 1875, and the railway opened to traffic the following year. The buildings of Kyrö station were executed to standard drawings.
After the railway was built, Kyrö became the central built-up area of Karinainen municipality. Shops were built in the station district, and, among other things, sawmill industry arose there. The station was also an important grain loading point. Karinainen was merged into Pöytyä in 2005.
