Kuvaus
Ristaniemen 1730-luvulla perustetun yksinäistalon pihapiiri hirsirakennuksineen kuvastaa hyvin 1700-1800-lukujen elämänoloja ja asumistapaa Sisä-Suomen harvaanasutulla metsäseudulla.
Jakamajärven länsirannalla sijaitseva ja lähes 30 hirsirakennusta käsittävä rakennuskanta on säilyttänyt hyvin alkuperäisen asunsa. Vanhassa päärakennuksessa on leveä vaakalautavuoraus ja viistokulmainen umpikuisti. Vanhan päärakennuksen takana on tilan uusi päärakennus.
Talousrakennuksiin kuuluu mm. kivinavetta, joka on rakennettu harmaasta Kurun graniitista, ja pakaritupa. Sivummalla on neljä vanhaa aittaa. Lisäksi talousrakennusryhmään kuuluu luhti, savusauna, vanha paja, sahahuone, riihi, makasiineja ja latoja. Riihilatona on vanha savupirtti, toinenkin heinälato on entinen savupirtti.
Historia
Ristaniemen yksinäistila perustettiin 1738. Vanha päärakennus rakennettiin 1820, vuoraus ja umpikuisti valmistuivat 1880. Vanha päärakennus oli asuttuna vuoteen 1967. Navetta rakennettiin 1880-luvulla ja pakaritupa 1900. Nykyisin talousrakennuksena toimiva vanha asuinrakennus valmistui 1788. Aitoista vanhin rakennettiin 1771. Luhti valmistui 1830.

Description
The farmstead of the Ristaniemi lone farmstead, established in the 1730s, with its log buildings, reflects well the living conditions and way of life of the 18th and 19th centuries in the sparsely populated forest region of Sisä-Suomi.
The building stock on the western shore of Jakamajärvi, comprising almost 30 log buildings, has well preserved its original appearance. The old main building has a wide horizontal board cladding and a closed porch with angled corners. Behind the old main building is the farm's new main building.
The outbuildings include, among others, a stone cowshed built of grey Kuru granite, and a pakaritupa. Further off are four old granary storehouses. In addition, the outbuilding group includes a luhti, a savusauna, an old smithy, a sawmill building, a threshing barn, storehouses and hay barns. The riihilato is an old savupirtti, and another hay barn is also a former savupirtti.
