Kuvaus
Irjalan kartano edustaa 1800-luvun lopun taloudellisen noususuhdanteen aikaista kartanoarkkitehtuuria. Kartano sijaitsee Haapaniemenjärven ja Rehakanjärven välisen kannaksen töyräällä, jolta tunnetaan asutusta jo kivikaudelta.
Kartanon hirsinen päärakennus, jonka keskiosa muodostaa kolmen kerroksen korkuisen tornimaisen kuution, on rakennettu 1885 arkkitehtitoimisto Kiseleff & Heikel suunnitelmien mukaan. Rakennusta ympäröi osin 1850-luvulta oleva puisto, jossa rantaan laskeutuvat kiviportaat muodostavat vaikuttavan puistoelementin.
Päärakennuksen sisätilat ovat säilyneet pitkälti rakentamisaikaisessa asussaan. Poikkeuksellisen vaikuttava on rakennuksen keskellä oleva korkea, avoin porrastila.
Tiilinen karjarakennus on 1880-luvulta ja sen vieressä on vanha työväen asuinrakennus. Toinen työväen asuinrakennus, Mäntylä, on pellon laidassa.
Rantapellon laidalla oleva Heikkilä on Irjalan entinen torppa. Hirsinen asuinrakennus on 1800-luvun loppupuolelta.
Historia

Description
Irjala manor represents the manor architecture of the economic upswing at the end of the 19th century. The manor is situated on a bluff on the isthmus between Haapaniemenjärvi and Rehakanjärvi, a place where settlement is known from the Stone Age.
The log main building of the manor, whose central section forms a tower-like cube three storeys high, was built in 1885 to designs by the architectural office Kiseleff & Heikel. The building is partly surrounded by a park dating from the 1850s, in which stone steps descending to the shore form an impressive park element.
The interiors of the main building have largely survived in their original state of construction. The tall, open staircase hall in the middle of the building is exceptionally impressive.
The brick cattle building dates from the 1880s, and beside it is an old workers' residential building. Another workers' residential building, Mäntylä, stands at the edge of a field.
Heikkilä, located at the edge of the shore field, is the former croft of Irjala. The log residential building dates from the late 19th century.
History
Irjala manor was formed in the 1590s from two farmhouses, and it enjoyed säterivapaus from 1615, when it was donated to the Brunow family.
The present main building was built after the previous main building was destroyed in a fire in 1884.
