Kuvaus
Halosenniemen sahan työväenasuinalue on rakennuskannaltaan ja miljööltään hyvin säilynyt suurehkon sahan yhteyteen 1920-luvulla syntynyt työväestön rakentama tiivis asuinyhdyskunta.
Sahalle johtavan tien varrella on ryhmä taitekattoisia punamullattuja puurakennuksia 1920-luvulta. Halosenniementien muu asutus koostuu sahatyöläisten omatoimisesti rakentamista pienistä taloista, jotka muodostavat varsin tiiviin nauhan kylätien varrelle. Ympäristöä leimaavat myös peltopalstat ja talousrakennukset. Raitin päätteenä on seuratalo Repola. Saharakennus ei ole säilynyt.
Historia

Description
The Halosenniemi sawmill workers' residential area is a compact residential settlement built by the working population in connection with a fairly large sawmill that arose in the 1920s. Its building stock and milieu are very well preserved.
Along the road leading to the sawmill stands a group of gambrel-roofed, red-ochre painted timber buildings from the 1920s. The rest of the settlement along Halosenniementie consists of small houses built on their own initiative by sawmill workers, which form a fairly dense strip along the village road. The surroundings are also characterised by field plots and outbuildings. At the end of the street stands the Repola community hall. The sawmill building has not survived.
History
The small steam sawmill of Halonen Ångsågs-yhtiö operated at Pirttikari, Halosenniemi, from 1890 to 1902.
Osakeyhtiö Rauma Wood Ltd built the steam sawmill at Halosenniemi in 1923. As a plant of Rauma-Repola, it operated until 1951, after which the production buildings were demolished, except for the chimney.
