The Finnish Heritage Agency's description

Lähellä Harjavallan voimalaitosta Nakkilan puolella on Lammaisten kylään kuuluva merkittävä Uuloon talon rakennusryhmä. Uulon talon pihapiiriin kuuluu päärakennuksen lisäksi pirttirakennus ja kivinavetta.

Nakkilan ja Harjavallan rajalla Kokemäenjoessa oleva vesivoimalaitos on arkkitehti Erik Bryggmanin suunnittelema. Se on varhaisimpia suurvoimaloita. Voimalaitos on valmistunut 1939 ja sen komea teollisuusarkkitehtuuri liittyy laajempaan Kokemäenjoen voimalaitokset -kokonaisuuteen (ks. erillinen kohde). Voimalaitoksen asuntoalue on puistokujanteen päässä kosken etelärannalla.

Rakennuksen keskiosa korotettiin kaksikerroksiseksi 1923. Talousrakennukset valmistuivat 1900-luvun alkupuolella.

Nakkilan Lammaisten kylän Uuloon talon päärakennus rakennettiin 1800-luvun alkupuolella, ulkoasu valmistui 1909 tehdyssä korjauksessa. Pirttirakennus valmistui 1800-luvun alkupuolella.

Tolvin talon pihapiirissä säilynyt vanhin asuinrakennus rakennettiin tiettävästi 1810-luvulla, nuorempi päärakennus 1850-luvulla ja pihapiirin muut rakennukset 1880-luvulla.

The valuable cultural landscape of Lammaistenlahti is formed by the old settlement of Pirilä village on the north bank of the rapids located in the narrows of the Kokemäenjoki river, by Huovintie on the southern side, by the farmhouses of Torttila and Lammaiset villages, and by the power plant that harnesses the rapids.

The farms along the old village road in Pirilä village are Yli-Priia, Yli-Futka and Heikkilä. The old building stock of Torttila is represented by the group of buildings at Tolvi farm, which adjoins the main road, and by Kangasniemi farm. Near the Harjavalta power plant on the Nakkila side is the notable group of buildings at Uulo farm, which belongs to Lammaiset village. The farmyard of Uulo farm includes, in addition to the main building, a pirttirakennus and a stone cowshed.

The hydroelectric power plant on the Kokemäenjoki river at the border between Nakkila and Harjavalta was designed by architect Erik Bryggman. It is one of the earliest large power plants. The power plant was completed in 1939, and its impressive industrial architecture is connected to the wider Kokemäenjoen voimalaitokset ensemble (see separate entry). The residential area of the power plant is at the end of a tree-lined park path on the south bank of the rapids.

Lammaistenlahti was an important market place in the Middle Ages, through which the Huovintie road ran from Kokemäki to Ulvila. The rapids site was an important place for catching salmon and whitefish from the Middle Ages until the early 20th century.

The main building of Pirilän Heikkilä was completed in the mid-19th century, and its present appearance dates from an extension in 1919. The main building of Yli-Futka was built in the 19th century.

In the village of Torttila, south of the Koski rapids, markets were held in a few years of the 18th century. The main building of Kangasniemi, which was known by the name Keisari in the 16th century, had its main structure built in the 1850s. The central part of the building was raised to two storeys in 1923. The outbuildings were completed in the first half of the 20th century.

The main building of the Uuloo farm in the village of Lammaiset, Nakkila, was built in the first half of the 19th century, and its exterior was completed in a repair carried out in 1909. The pirttirakennus was completed in the first half of the 19th century.

The oldest surviving residential building in the yard of the Tolvi farm was reportedly built in the 1810s, the younger main building in the 1850s, and the other buildings in the yard in the 1880s.
