The Province's registration record

built in a common vernacular style, there are not many left in this condition in the province; has been kept in the same family for 133 years & because of the Malignant Cove perspective. Character defining elements - original location off of Campbell-MacQuarrie Road in Malignant Cove, Antigonish County; original modest one and one-half storey design with central chimney made of stone; five bay symmetrical front facade with six-over-six hung windows, a wooden storm door and an original entrance door; wooden shingle siding with simple corner boards and minimal trim around each window; stone foundation; and single storey hipped roofed addition. While not part of the registration, Council recognizes the original unique interior features of the home as well.
