Reason for registration
its close association with Edmund Power Flynn, MLA and MP, and with the Cutler family, which for most of the 20th century used the house as a residence, hotel and telephone exchange for Arichat, and because this house is one of the very few pre-1914 buildings of architectural merit left in Arichat whose history goes back to the first half of the 18th century.
